Overall: Nicolae is the perfect replica of the English gentleman. He has deep brown eyes that seem to see straight into your soul. His emotions, if strong enough, can be seen through his eyes, and if anger resides in their depths, you can be sure things are going to get ugly. He has light brown hair that hangs around his ears, flipping up at the ends. Occasionally, the front will fall in his eyes. His skin is tan from spending all day in the sun, and his smile is as bright as any light he can call up.

Nicolae can usually be seen wearing dressy clothes. He likes to look his best, and he shows that, even when in the middle of the forest. Personality: Nicolae is a bright man, strong in his beliefs and happy to help those that need it. He’s never too busy for someone in need, and he tries to do everything he can for them. He’s always trying to cheer people up, and he hates to see people hurting. He’s friends with everyone, and it’s hard to become Nicolae’s enemy.

Nicolae is very protective of those he loves. That’s one of the few ways you can get on his bad side, is to hurt someone he loves. His family and friends are everything to him. He can sometimes be too rash, and make bad decisions just because someone he cares about is involved. But he does always mean best.

Nicolae hates bad situations, and will try to joke and make light of everything. When his younger sister Melanie told him what had happened back home, he could barely believe it. It killed him to find out that his little brother had been killed in cold blood and that he would never see him again, never tell him he was sorry. It became his one wish to be able to talk to his brother one last time, his only regret that he never did. When he’s alone, Nicolae can easily slip into a depression. Because of this, he tries to surround himself with people.

History: Nicolae was born on a beautiful Spring day, March 12th to be exact. He was the first child of the Shadows family, and he was their pride and joy. They spoiled him like no tomorrow, and no was a foreign word to him. He had everything any kid wanted, and the riches of his family would prevent that from ever ending.

When his twin siblings Nikolas and Melanie were born, Nicolae thought nothing would change in the family. He’d just have a brother and sister who got everything they wanted and were loved on just as much as himself. But that wasn’t true. His parents loved and doted on Nicolae just as much as usual, but his two siblings got none of the love he had expected to go to them. It was as if his parents didn’t want them and didn’t care now that they were there.

Nicolae began to see that his parents didn’t care for his younger siblings as he grew older. This made him begin to hate his parents, knowing that they choose favorites with their own kids. Why have more kids if you didn’t want them?

Nicolae became the refuge for his younger siblings, being their for them where their parents never where. He would help them when they needed help, comfort them when they were down, let them rant and rave to him when they needed to, and helping them with things they need help with.

When he was 16, Nicolae left home. He went to the America’s to try to make his way in the world. When he left, he promised Nikolas he would come back and see him, but when he arrived in the America’s, it became obvious that he wouldn’t be able to visit again. He soon lost all his money, and with a poor job, he couldn’t make the money to go back.

Four years after Nicolae moved to the America’s, he became extremely lucky. The man that he had been working for needed to go to England, and he was bringing Nicolae with him. They flew over in late February, and Nik had several months with day’s full of nothing to do while his boss was off at work. After the first while, Nicolae finally found the courage to ask him if he could take a few weeks off to visit his family. His boss was more than generous and gave him the last three weeks that they would be in England.

On his way to his hometown of England, he began to notice the changes in the light around him. Soon, he figured out that he was able to control the light around him to his preferences.

Nicolae was close to his hometown, just a few hours drive, when he stopped for lunch. At the restaurant, he met another man, one who seemed to attract animals to him. He was sitting in the back, near the fish tank that was in the restaurant. All the fish in the tank seemed to hover right around the man’s person. After talking with him for a while, the man told him that he was an earth elemental, and explained that Nicolae was a light elemental. So Nicolae left the restaurant and traveled with the man to the Tribe of Day, where he’s been living ever since.
