The river runs through the forest until it runs out into the ocean. The beach is nice and clean, the water clear and refreshing. All sorts of things can be found on the beach, washed up by the tide. Gulls flock to the beach in hordes, and there's always noise rattling the air. Not many people come to the beach, but those that do find it to be a nice retreat.
There's a legend about the ocean, a legend that there are spirits in the water that will drag you to the bottom and drown you if you enter the water. It may have once started as an old wive's tale to make the little kids behave, but it has become so much more now. People are afraid of the water because of the legend, and those that don't believe it believe those that do are mental. People have all sorts of views on the legend, and what it states, but most everyone has an opinion.
