The river is long and deep. It winds through the entire camp, and both tribes have their camps near the river. The river is a popular place for the kids and teens of both tribes to play, and the cool waters are very refreshing during the hot summer weather. The river freezes over during the winter and becomes a perfect place to go ice skating.
The river is a mile away from where the Tribe of Night made their camp. The water is fast, and in some parts, dangerous. Rapids have formed in several parts of the river. The parts that are clear and safe are nice and cool, the perfect place to go swimming and hang out with some friends.
The river is a lot closer to the Tribe of Day, only a few minutes walk from the camp. The water's are just as cold here, and the river is smooth and clear. Rapids are nonexistent in this part, and the people of the Day Tribe flock to the cool waters to hang out.
Though the river is nice and pleasant, it can be dangerous. If there's too much rain, it can flood, sending the tribes people running for shelter. It's not so bad in Day's side, where the ground is relatively flat, but in Night's side, where the ground slopes toward the camp, the flooding is an usual thing. Both tribes know what to do in the events of flooding, and leaders are prepared to help the members get to safety when flooding occurs.
