In the beginning of time, there were two girls, Aurora, who was the day, and Andromeda, who was the night. They were the best of friends, so close, they were like sisters. And like every sister, they had their fights. But even the closest of friends cannot escape every fight unscathed.
Silas was a pretty boy, one that every girl in the land fell for. No one knew where he came for. He just came from nowhere, with nothing but the clothes on his back and his daughter, Selene. And like any other girl around, Aurora and Andromeda fell for him as well. And as could be expected, a fight broke out between them.
The fights of immortal elementals are not like your normal fights. Usually, elements end up flying between the two when they fought, but they would always make it up in the end. The people knew to stay away and let the fight blow away on its own. Silas, on the other hand, didn't know this. He tried to get between them and stop the fighting, but in the end, the only thing that ended was his life.
No one knows who's strike it was that ended the life of Silas, but Aurora and Andromeda both blamed the other, and Selene blamed them both. She cursed them, saying there fighting would be their end. They would be too proud to stop, and one by one, people would stop supporting them until they were all alone. Then, and only then, would they know what true pain felt like.
To this day, Selene’s curse still stands. The tribe’s of the two girls have been pulled into the fight, and it has now become a full out war between the two. Neither of them will admit defeat or that they were wrong, and they still fight. The elementals complain about their leaders stubborn pride, but they don’t do anything to end the war. So welcome to the forest, a place far from paradise.
