Love’s Shadow has four different species allowed. For three, there are certain requirements you must meet before you’re allowed to have one.
Elementals
have control over one element. They all have to go through training, whether by a teacher or on their own, before they have complete control over their element. This is the one species you can make an original character for at any time.
Personifications
are the living representation of something. Aurora and Andromeda are examples of personifications. Personifications can have elements, though not all of them have to. They live forever naturally, but they can be killed. If the canon you want is a personification, you may take them, even if you haven’t met the requirements. Requirements for an original personification is one character with at least 50 posts.
Humans
Well you know them. They stumbled upon the tribe by accident, and now can’t leave because of what they know. If they participate in the war, they usually die pretty fast because of their lack of elemental protection. Requirements for an original human is one character with at least 50 posts.
Multi-Elementals
are just like elementals. Though it is possible for a multi-elemental to have every element of their tribe, it is extremely rare. Multi-elementals usually have two or three, at the most. Just like a normal elemental, they must go through training for each of their elements before they have complete control over them. If the canon you want is a multi-elemental, you can take them, even if you haven’t met the requirements. Requirements for an original multi-elemental is one character with at least 100 posts.
